At the Manish Malhotra Diwali celebration on Thursday, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan were pictured together. The former bride-to-be of Abhishek, Karisma Kapoor, was spotted at the star-studded Bollywood bash. Karisma shared a rare photo of herself and Aishwarya during the Diwali celebrations on Instagram on Friday.

Karisma, who was wearing a red saree to Manish’s party, and Aishwarya, who was wearing a pink ethnic outfit, posed for a photo together. As they posed with star Madhuri Dixit, they were all seen beaming and gazing into the camera. Karisma captioned their Instagram Stories image, “Reunited with the OGs.” She added a lightning bolt and a heart emoji to her caption to accentuate it. She slipped in, “about last night,” as a filler. Karisma included the hashtags Aishwarya and Madhuri when she uploaded the picture. The star also shared photos of herself enjoying the party by herself.

For many years, there were rumours that Abhishek and Karisma were dating. Even so, they were planning to marry. Shweta Bachchan, a sister of Abhishek, is wed to Nikhil Nanda, a relative of Karisma Kapoor. Their broken engagement was the subject of news in 2003. Abhishek Bachchan was questioned about his breakup with Karisma and the passing of his grandpa Harivansh Rai Bachchan in an old interview from that era. He had said, “I am bound to feel the pain. But I have to rise above my personal problems.” He further added, “As for my personal life, no one can force me to talk about it. It is my problem and my pain. The only ones I am answerable to are my parents and immediate family.”

April 20, 2007, saw the wedding of Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai in Mumbai. In 2011, their child Aaradhya Bachchan was born. In 2003, Karisma wed businessman Sanjay Kapur. A few years later, the two broke apart. Samaira and Kiaan, the children of the former spouse, are sisters. Aishwarya and Karisma have occasionally been pictured together over the years, although they have frequently been seen attending different family and public occasions together. For the first time, Karisma showed Aishwarya the pictures she took at a recent Diwali party.

The A-list of Bollywood attended Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party. Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Sara Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor are just a few examples.
