The festival of lights, Diwali, has already started to be celebrated. Bollywood is already in the holiday spirit because this is the first time in two years that everyone gets to celebrate the joy with their loved ones and, well, elaborate parties. Vidya Balan went to the big party before Diwali that producer Ramesh Taurani threw.
Thursday, the actress posted a series of photos of herself sitting next to a flower rangoli on social media. Vidya Balan wore a green kanjeevaram saare with heavy borderwork in red and gold. She wore gold necklaces, earrings, and tiny gold bangles to go with her outfit.
She finished her look with a bindi and dark lipstick on her lips. Vidya Balan wrote in the post as, “Gearing up for the festive season, candids and khushiyaan.”

On the work front, Vidya Balan was last seen in the well-received movie Jalsa, which she co-starred in with Shefali Shah. She will be seen next in Lovers by Shirsha Guha Thakurta. Sendhil Ramamurthy, Pratik Gandhi, and Ileana D’Cruz are also in the movie. We don’t know when it will come out yet.
