The United Arab Emirates has instructed its citizens to immediately stop using the Mail app installed on iPhones and iPads.
The Abu Dhabi Digital Authority has advised iPhone users not to use the e-mail already installed in the devices due to security and privacy concerns.
A notice has been issued on the social networking site Twitter in which the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority has warned users that their data could be exposed to hackers after vulnerabilities in the security of the Mail app came into light.
The UAE Authority has recommended that users choose alternative mail apps.
