- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s assistant to the president has responded to Putin’s call for Kyiv to return to the negotiating table.
- Mykhailo Podolyak stated that conversations would only be feasible with a “new president of Russia”.
An advisor to the Ukrainian president has responded negatively to the most recent demand made by Russian President Vladimir Putin for Kyiv to return to the negotiating table. The adviser stated that there is no use in holding talks with individuals who “dance on bones.”
Mykhailo Podolyak reiterated a statement made by his boss, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in a tweet in which he stated that conversations would only be feasible with a “new president of Russia.”
Let’s conclude the basis.
1. There is no point in negotiating with those who “dance on bones” — Putin and his entourage. The price of their words has a negative value.
2. Negotiations are possible, but with the new president of Russia. Which will assess reality more adequately.

As he made the announcement on Friday that Russia will be annexing four Russian-occupied districts of Ukrainian territory, Vladimir Putin called on Ukraine to “stop hostilities and return to the negotiation table.”
The action came after so-called referendums on those regions joining Russia, polls which Kyiv and its Western allies criticised as being a fraud and which led to the decision to carry forward with the move. There are still areas of the territories that are under the control of Ukrainian soldiers.
