Prince Harry was ‘firmly put in his place’ by the Queen

  • Meghan Markle asked for a tiara on her wedding to Prince Harry, claimed a new book.
  • Author Valentine Low said that the Duke of Sussex was ‘furious’ and thought of Angela being ‘obstructive’.
  • The late monarch’s dresser Angela Kelly told that she was not available and Meghan couldn’t access to the tiara.

According to a new book, Queen Elizabeth II “put” Prince Harry in “his place”. Following Meghan Markle’s request for a tiara at her wedding.

Valentine Low, royal correspondent for The Times, reported that the Queen said she would lend Meghan a tiara for the occasion. As she did for Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton.

Valentine’s book, Courtiers: The Hidden Power, claims that The Suits alum chose the Queen’s Mary diamond tiara to wear behind the Crown.

Angela Kelly, the late monarch’s dresser, stated that she was unavailable, and Meghan was unable to obtain access to the tiara.

Valentine described the Duke of Sussex as “furious” and Angela as “obstructive.”

Angela stated that she had to follow protocol because these jewels are “kept under very tight lock and key.”

According to the author, Prince Harry “put pressure on Kelly to bend the rules” and addressed her with “some fairly fruity language.”

According to the book, the prince was “downright rude” and was “firmly put in his place” by Her Majesty.

The Queen was “very upset,” Valentine wrote, after Harry told the dresser, “What Meghan wants, Meghan gets!”
