The Prince of Wales recently revealed the plans for Prince William and Kate Middleton’s trip to the US later this year, according to sources.
Just a few days after the Queen was laid to rest in a state funeral on Monday, September 19, 2022, the Prince and Princess of Wales revealed specifics of their impending travel arrangements in a video posted on Wednesday.
Prince William and Kate will both be travelling to Boston in late this year for the Earthshot Prize ceremony, which is set for December 2, 2022.
“Though it is the saddest of circumstances that means I cannot join you in person today, I am pleased to be able to join you in video form as you gather in New York for the Earthshot Prize innovation summit,” William said in a video that was played at the Earthshot Prize innovation summit on Wednesday.
“During this difficult time, I take great solace in your continuous enthusiasm, hope, and commitment to the Earthshot Prize and what we are trying to accomplish,” he continued.
The environment was a concern that my grandmother cared deeply about. And I’m confident that she would have loved learning about this occasion and the encouragement you all are providing for our Earthshot finalists, the upcoming generation of environmental pioneers,” William said.
