Katie Taylor, 36, defeated Amanda Serrano in a nail-biting split-decision match six months ago to raise her record to 21-0.
At Wembley’s OVO Arena on October 29, undisputed lightweight world champion Katie Taylor will defend her titles against Karen Elizabeth Carbajal.
The bout in October will mark Carbajal’s first contest outside of her native Argentina.
On the undercard, Belfast’s Caoimhin Agyarko will compete against American Peter Dobson.
Agyarko will make his first defence of the WBA world super-welterweight title he won over Lukasz Maciec in July.
After securing her place at the pinnacle of women’s boxing with her emotional victory against Serrano in front of a sold-out Madison Square Garden, Taylor will try to add another chapter to her already legendary career in the main event.
The battle, which was the first time two women had shared the spotlight at the renowned venues, lived up to the hype, with both competitors expressing a desire for a rematch after the contest.
The second meeting has been postponed, and Serrano will now compete for the featherweight world championship on Saturday in Manchester against Sarah Mahfoud of Denmark.
