Prince Harry joins William and cousins for Royal Vigil at Queen’s Coffin

  • Prince Harry attended a historic vigil at the Queen’s coffin on Saturday.
  • Prince William and cousins Peter Phillips, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and James, Vicount Severn.
  • The 15-minute vigil was held at Westminster Hall.

With his brother Prince William and other cousins, Prince Harry attended a historic vigil at the Queen’s coffin on Saturday while dressed in a military uniform.

All eight of Queen Elizabeth’s grandchildren came together at Westminster Hall for a sombre vigil to remember the late monarch, and there were many touching moments.

After losing his military titles in 2021, the Duke of Sussex made his first appearance in uniform.

Immediately following the Queen’s grandchildren holding a Vigil next to Her Majesty’s casket in Westminster Hall on Saturday, the Royal Family posted the touching moments to Twitter.

Prior to the late monarch’s planned royal funeral on Monday, Prince William, Prince Harry, and their cousins Lady Louise Windsor, Peter Phillips, Zara Tindall, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and James, Vicount Severn gathered on Saturday to attend a vigil in her honour.

The Duke of Sussex and William, The Prince of Wales, both wearing Blues and Royals regalia, came in behind them as the procession entered.

During the 15-minute vigil, Kate’s husband stood in front of the Queen’s casket, joined by Peter, 44, and Zara, 41, Princess Anne’s two children.

Princess Beatrice, 34, and Princess Eugenie, 32, the two daughters of Prince Andrew, sat at the foot of the coffin with Meghan’s husband Harry. James, 14, and Lady Louise, 18, their other cousins, stood in the middle of the casket.
