ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry said Saturday that PTI has given a call across the country to protest against the skyrocketing inflation in Pakistan.
He was addressing a presser when said that the core committee discussed the recent economic crisis in the country and announced that protest would be launched against the incumbent government blaming it for the worsening situation in Pakistan.
Fawad Chaudhry also warned the government that if they are not going to announce immediate elections then PTI will announce a final call in two weeks adding that protests will take place this month (September).
While touching on the elections, he said Pakistan will eventually go for general elections very soon adding that PTI will not step back in campaigning against the imported government.
The PTI leader expressed grave concerns over the jumping crime graph across the country specifically in Karachi saying that “Massive unemployment is being witnessed in the past few days, and in the coming months unemployment cases might reach millions.”
“There is no solution other than immediate elections,” he reiterated.
He also discussed the difficulties of the flood victims and expressed gratitude to the Punjab and KP governments for combating the calamity.
