The pair had planned their wedding for earlier in 2020. However, the worldwide pandemic caused the idea to be put on hold. Twice in 2020, they had to push back the date of their wedding.
The long-time sweethearts have decided to tie the knot this coming October. Both a celebration in Delhi and a reception in Mumbai are scheduled for October 7th, as arranged by the couple.

It was on the set of Fukrey in 2012 that Chadha and Fazal first met and immediately hit it off. They were both quite good at keeping their connection under wraps.
After the Venice premiere of Ali’s film, where the two of them walked the red carpet hand in hand, the news of their relationship became public.
