After attending a prayer ceremony for the Queen, King Charles’ younger brother Prince Andrew, escorted by his daughters Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, thanked well-wishers who lined the way back to Balmoral.
When asked how things were doing, Andrew replied, “We’ve been permitted one day, now we begin the process of passing her over. It’s good to see you, thank you for coming.”
During an emotional outing to observe flower tributes left for the Queen, the Duke of York was seen placing his arm around his youngest daughter as she wiped away tears in one of the photos.
Other members of the royal family went on a short walkabout after attending a short church service near their Balmoral home. The entire royal family was visibly moved as they read cards and words written for Queen Elizabeth II, who died earlier this week at the castle.
