When asked about working with Shah Rukh Khan in an interview with a news website, the actor said that given the current political context, it wouldn’t be advantageous for his Dear Zindagi co-star to do so. Khan shouldn’t collaborate with him at this time, according to Ali, as his difficulties will increase only.

Ali expressed interest in collaborating with Shehnaaz Gill despite his desire to avoid working with Shah Rukh Khan. He continued by saying that he would want to work with her on one of his songs if she is interested.
