The actor can be seen posing in the video holding the fan-gifted blood painting. We can hear Sonu saying in Hindi, “I am here with Madhu Gurjar, he’s a great artist. This is a gift from him, a painting of me, but he did only one mistake. He has painted it with blood. He could have used paint, not blood.”

In reply, the artist said, “Sir I can give my life for you. You have extended your help for many poor people. We all think only of ourselves, but you are different. Another fan who couldn’t be seen in the video, said, “Sir, you are no less than a God for people like us.”
Sonu responded by saying that the painter ought to have donated the blood instead of using it to create the portrait. Sonu then begged his people to support Madhu while another man can be heard stating, “Sir, but he has donated the blood to you.”
The actor afterwards circulated the video and urged everyone to donate blood and not squander it. He wrote, “My brother, please donate blood. Don’t waste it. Thank you.”

Sonu has a respectable fan base now that his humanitarian acts during the pandemic have gained attention, whether it was by assisting stranded migrant workers to reach their homes during a lockdown or by giving financial and medical assistance to those in need.
Even now, a lot of people come to his Mumbai apartment building to ask for assistance. Thousands of people contact him for assistance calling him the masiha on social media.
