- Olivia and Florence were spotted together on the red carpet at Don’t Worry Darling’s Venice Film Festival debut.
- There had been rumors of a “falling out” between the two.
- Wilde and Pugh reconciled for the film’s red carpet appearance.
Despite the feud rumours, Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh are reconciling for the Don’t Worry Darling red carpet.
Wilde, 38, and Pugh, 26, stood on the red carpet with their co-stars Harry Styles, Gemma Chan, Sydney Chandler, Chris Pine, and Nick Kroll at the movie’s Venice Film Festival debut on Monday.
During her debut on the red carpet, Pugh took her grandma with her.
A question about allegations of a “falling out” between Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh was answered during the photo opportunity, which took place hours after Pugh missed the press briefing for the movie while travelling away from the Dune: Part Two set.
In response to the query, Wilde said, ” “Florence is a force, and we are so grateful that she’s able to make it tonight despite being in production on Dune. I know, as a director, how disruptive it is to lose an actor even for a day, so I’m very grateful to her, to Denis Villeneuve for helping us.”
“We’re really thrilled we’ll get to celebrate her work tonight. I can’t say enough how honored I am to have her as our lead. She’s amazing in the film.”
