According to media sources, Armie Hammer’s accuser recently criticized the producers of the upcoming docuseries House of Hammer.

In her interview with the media, Effie, who filed rape charges against the actor in March of last year, reportedly criticized filmmakers Elli Hakami and Julian Hobbs for their “sickening treatment.”

With no concern for our healing process or privacy, she said, “It is really improper of you to take advantage of such a horrible, vulnerable moment in many people’s life.”

Effie remarked that Armie came to mind when she observed their repulsive behavior.

The way they’ve been taking advantage of my trauma is terrible, Effie continued, “They remind me of Armie when I keep shouting ‘no’ and they keep going, stating they don’t need my consent.” She said.

In a statement to a magazine in response to Effie’s charges, Hobbs added that it was “an editorial decision” to “not get involved.”

He said, “Effie has been outspoken about her belief that creating any type of media out of these incidents is somewhat questionable.

“As filmmakers, we don’t take that stance,” Hobbs continued. We believe that it is our duty to tell the stories honestly.

“I think what you have to be is ethically on the right side of how the affairs are conducted,” he said. You must be upfront and forthcoming about the film’s developments, as well as inclusive.

The documentary is presently available for viewing on HBO Max and Discovery+.
