The only national black newspaper in Britain had an edition that Prince Charles edited.

The Voice, a British African-Caribbean weekly that is published by the Prince of Wales, will feature interviews with Lady Doreen Lawrence and Idris Elba to commemorate its 40th birthday, according to The Guardian.

The publication was established in 1982 and was referred to by Charles as an institution.

Charles declared that being invited to edit the special jubilee edition left him feeling “very touched.”

The issue, which will be available starting on September 1, will examine topics like community cohesion, education, climate change, the Commonwealth, faith, and the arts and will include an interview with Lawrence, according to The Guardian.

Lawrence is the mother of Stephen Lawrence, a teenager who was killed in a racist attack on April 22, 1993, while he waited for a bus in south London.

The newspaper quotes actor Idris Elba as saying that receiving a grant from the Prince’s Trust when he was 16 had a “life-changing” effect on him.
