It is to be noted that Federal Investigation Agency has submitted the inquiry report on wheat and sugar crisis to the Prime Minister that includes names of top political families.
The report states that the major cause of the wheat crisis is the lack of planning by the federal and provincial governments.
As per the reort, PTI stalwart Jahangir Tareen benefited from the crisis, Federal Minister of National Food Security and Research Khusro Bakhtiar’s brother, and Moonis Elahi’s companies profited the most from the sugar crisis.
