WhatsApp new ‘Undo’ feature recovers accidentally deleted texts

  • WhatsApp will soon include an undo button for texts accidentally deleted.
  • Only a small group of beta testers are able to use the feature right now.

WhatsApp users will get a new update soon that includes an undo button. The feature is made so that users can get back texts that they deleted by accident.

For now, only a small group of beta testers can use it. These people can recover messages that were accidentally deleted.

Wabetainfo revealed that Android’s upcoming release will have an undo capability. While it’s still under development, lucky testers will soon be able to use the latest software version.

A tweet by the corporation asked consumers how they would feel if they deleted a message exclusively for themselves, instead of everyone. This mistake happens often, causing many of us instant remorse.

Better late than never. We’re happy WhatsApp lets users restore unintentionally deleted texts.

Recent screenshots posted by WBI show that snack bars appear when the system sees that the user is trying to delete texts.

Take a look:

And that shows that users only have a few seconds to get back text that was actually meant to be deleted for everyone, not just the user.

WhatsApp’s involvement made an irrevocable change reversible.

Make sure to upgrade WhatsApp for the new feature. If the snack bar does not appear when erasing texts, it means one of two things. You can’t update yet.
