Anurag Kashyap, a filmmaker, is getting ready for the debut of his new movie, “Dobaaraa,” which stars Taapsee Pannu. The director recently discussed his relationship with director Karan Johar in an interview with a web portal.

Anurag mentioned that he knew the filmmaker of “My Name Is Khan’s” father when talking about KJo. Anurag continued by saying that Karan hails from a wealthy family and that he has harshly criticised him. The “Bombay Velvet” director discovered Kjo to be similar to him but from the other perspective when they first met.

Anurag claimed to the news portal that Karan treats his directors and filmmakers well while also granting them autonomy. The nicest thing about Karan, according to the “Gangs of Wasseypur” director, is that he has his own critic. Karan is a misunderstood individual.

The creative director of Dharmatics, Somesh Mishra, was a critic of Karan Johar, nevertheless KJo hired him, according to Kashyap. This is a hallmark of a “visionary and courageous individual,” Anurag concluded.
