The royal family is rigorous about writing thank-you notes, and the most recent recipients include those for Princess Charlotte’s seventh birthday!
Kate Middleton and Prince William’s daughter turned 7 in May, and royal fan @KatsRoyalLetters tweeted the response she received from Kensington Palace after writing a birthday message to the young princess.
The card was written, “Thank you for the nice birthday message you gave for Princess Charlotte’s seventh birthday. “Princess Charlotte had a wonderful day, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge send you their very best wishes,” reads a statement from the palace. “Your letter was immensely appreciated.”

One of Kate’s three birthday photos of Princess Charlotte, was in the card.
In the pictures, Princess Charlotte is posing in a bluebell field close to the family’s rural residence, Anmer Hall.

She hugs Orla, the family’s new puppy, in a lovely photo. In late 2020, following the passing of their cherished puppy Lupo, William and Kate, aged 40, accepted a cocker spaniel into their family from a litter reared by Kate’s brother, James Middleton.
