In 2016, Angelina Jolie sued Brad Pitt for ‘physical and verbal assault’

  • After Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt broke up in 2016, it was reported that she had filed a complaint against Pitt
  • She said that he had physically abused her.
  • Jolie has been revealed to be the named plaintiff in a 2016 complaint that claimed her then-husband Brad Pitt abused her aboard a private plane.

According to Puck’s article, the Hollywood actress claimed that Pitt “physically and verbally assaulted” her and their children on the plane.

Reports claim that the Fight Club actor dragged the Maleficent star to the plane’s rear, gripped her shoulders, and yelled insults at her, including “You’re f***ing up this family.”

The actress said that another confrontation on the same aircraft left her with injuries, including one to her elbow.

She said that Pitt, who was intoxicated at the time, poured beer over her. The Pitt squad has strongly refuted all allegations.

After an incident on his family’s private plane, reports surfaced that Pitt was being investigated for child abuse.

After Maddox, then 15 years old, tried to break up a quarrel between his parents, the actor allegedly reacted violently and physically with his son.

Pitt’s team denied that he hurt his son, issuing the following statement to People: “He is emphatic that it did not reach the level of physical abuse, that no one was physically harmed. He did not hit his child in the face in any way. He did not do that; he is emphatic about that. He put his hands on him, yes, because the confrontation was spiraling out of control.”

Following this incident the Hollywood couple split and Brad publicly gave up drinking. No charges have been filed against him, according to Variety.
