In order to “visit numerous charities near to their hearts,” Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are travelling to the UK and Germany.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend the One Young World Summit in Manchester on September 5. It will follow, the Invictus Games in Germany on September 6, and the UK’s Well Child Awards on September 8.
The couple will also meet with a group of Summit delegates “performing exceptional work on gender equality.” They will visit while they are at the One Young World event.
“We are happy to announce that The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be visiting us in Düsseldorf on the 6th September to mark one year till the Invictus Games Dusseldorf 2023!,” the Invictus Games account tweeted.
Their trip to the UK coincides with Harry’s legal dispute regarding his security with the UK Home Department.
