Rahul Jain began his career in the music industry back in 2014 when he participated in the MTV show MTV Aloft Star.

With his song Teri Yaad from the 2016 Hindi suspense thriller Fever, which starred Gauahar Khan and Rajeev Khandelwal in the key roles, he made his Bollywood debut.

Rahul has written more than 250 musical compositions. The musician, who is a freelance costume stylist, has, however, found himself in legal problems when a FIR was filed against him for allegedly raping the 30-year-old woman.

According to the FIR, Rahul raped her at his home located in Mumbai’s Andheri. Rahul, according to the complainant, contacted her over Instagram, complimented her work, and then invited her to his apartment, which is housed in a high-rise building in the suburban Andheri district.

Rahul allegedly promised the complainant that she would be hired as his personal costume designer, according to the police official. On August 11, the costume designer went to the singer’s apartment and pretended to rape the woman while asking her to accompany her to his bedroom.

She further claimed that Rahul Jain hit her after she fought him and attempted to obliterate evidence. The inquiry, according to the Oshiwara police source, is now ongoing.

In accordance with the Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 376 (penalty for rape), 323 (punishment for voluntary infliction of harm), and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation), a FIR has been filed against Rahul against the musician.

Rahul reacted to the rape allegations made by the costume stylist and denied the claim saying, “I don’t know this woman. The allegations raised by her are fake and baseless. Earlier also a woman had made similar allegations against me but I got justice. The woman may be an associate of that woman,” reported.

Rahul has, however, previously faced allegations of sexual assault. He was charged in 2021 with rape, forced abortions, child abandonment, and dishonesty by a female lyricist.
