Prince William & Prince Harry’s bond appears to be at an impasse, analyst. The brothers cannot be “reconciled,” as their relationship has suffered ever since Harry opted to step down as a senior royal.
Last week, royal analyst Andrew Morton told: “I very much doubt they will be reunited. Wishful thinking abounds in this situation.
The biographer mentioned the idea of history repeating itself by using the example of the Queen’s father and his brother.
Edward VIII and George VI are the most similar. Similar to how Harry and William were inseparable, George VI cherished his brother. However, after he abdicated and moved abroad, the connection was never the same.
William and Harry are in a like predicament, Mr Morton observed. “As we saw during the Jubilee, when the time they spent in London was, to put it mildly, brief, there was no notion of having dinner or lunch together or gathering the kids,” Mr Morton remarked.
The more time Harry and Meghan spend in America, the more at ease they will be there. They will part ways.
Like any mother, Diana would have worried about the deterioration of her children’s relationships, he added.
“She indicated that she saw Harry as a wingman for William since his work is a lonely one and you can’t trust many people around you, and she said it to me on Panorama and on numerous occasions.
She believed Harry was standing by his brother, but that wasn’t how things turned out.
