The actor played Gautam Mehra in the movie Ek Villain Returns by Mohit Suri.

In an exclusive interview with Himesh Mankad for Pinkvilla, Kapoor was asked about directing. He has worked with Varun Dhawan before on a movie that went viral. Arjun said that Varun helped him and that Varun is a bad director. It was awful how he cast people. I got tricked. He made me the hero of the movie, but in the end I died. Varun looks good, but he isn’t.

Arjun: “I need control. I want to direct movies. If there hadn’t been an epidemic, I would have begun manufacturing stuff. I won’t forget it. I’ll start next year when I have more energy and time. I have no deadline as an actor. I’m curious. Fun! Production may begin, but direction is delayed. Unfinished projects won’t be given. I’m going there. I don’t want to joke about a director’s job. I love films. As an actor, I dislike certain storylines. Yes, for acting or directing.”
