India’s Naveen Kumar beat Pakistan’s Mohammad Sharif Tahir in the Men’s Freestyle 74kg wrestling event, so Tahir got the silver medal at the Commonwealth Games 2022.
In the final match, which everyone was looking forward to, Sharif couldn’t keep up with Naveen’s counterattacks, and his rival won gold by getting nine straight technical points.
Sharif won a silver medal for Pakistan at the Commonwealth Games 2022, along with fellow countrymen Inam Butt and Zaman Anwar.
At the Commonwealth Games 2022, as many as six wrestlers took part. Five of them won medals, and Tayab Raza will compete for a bronze medal later today in the Men’s Freestyle 90kg category.
