- He was accused of incest, stalking and harassment by Ricky, but later withdrew the charges.
Ricky Martin was ready to move on.
This month, Ricky, who is 50, was accused of incest, stalking, and harassment by his nephew. During a court hearing on July 21, the nephew took back his accusations against the “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer. Now, Ricky is telling the story from his point of view.
In a video that E! News got their hands on, he said, “I’m in front of the cameras today because I really need to talk so I can start to heal.” “I could not defend myself for two weeks because I was following a procedure that said I couldn’t talk until I was in front of a judge.”
The musician has had a hard time since the beginning of July, when his nephew got a temporary restraining order against him. Ricky’s lawyers told E! in a statement that the temporary order “was not extended by the Court” at the July 21 hearing.
