Ana de Armas doesn’t think that James Bond should be a woman, but she thinks that the Bond girls can be more interesting. The actress was in the latest 007 movie, No Time to Die, which was Daniel Craig’s last outing as the British superspy.

Since then, the search for a new Bond has been in full swing. Many people have been thought of for the part. This includes Henry Cavill, Regé-Jean Page, Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Richard Madden, and others. Even though the producers are still talking about it, fans have already picked their favorite, and so far, it’s Idris and Henry.

During the next 007 talks, someone brought up whether James Bond should be a man or a woman. We all know that the secret agent has been portrayed as misogynistic. Ana de Armas wants to talk about the same thing.

She told the media, “There shouldn’t be any need to steal someone else’s character, you know, to take over.”   Ana de Armas said,  “This is a novel, and it leads into this James Bond world and this fantasy of that universe where he’s at.”  Several other people have had the same idea and thought that women should have a new character instead of fitting into one.

The actress kept talking about how instead of a female 007, more attention should be paid to the Bond girls, she said.

The actress hopes that  “future women will be given a more substantial part and recognition.” Since her part in Daniel Craig’s No Time to Die, James Bond fans have wanted her to play the same part in the next movie.
