When Bhumi Pednekar and Raksha Bandhan’s director and producer, Aanand L. Rai, were in Jodhpur, they had some funny back-and-forths that were caught on Instagram. The movie starring Akshay Kumar seems to be getting ready to come out next month, so there are a lot of ads for it right now. And their most recent tour was in this small, traditional city in Rajasthan. Bhumi seems to have tried some of the local food while she was out exploring. She posted a picture of the Thali she was eating at a restaurant while she was there.
In a recent photo that Bhumi Pednekar posted online, we could see her posing with a huge thali filled with traditional Rajasthani dishes, sweets for dessert, and side dishes. The actress looked like she couldn’t wait to eat the healthy meal. She posted a series of photos with the funny caption, “Image No. 3 is proof I finished that thali all by myself? Another movie, “Toh treat toh banti hai,” was also finished. #RajasthaniThali” In the third picture in the set, the actress was almost asleep on a couch in the restaurant, where she had just finished eating.

After the funny photo, many of her industry friends replied to the post. Dia Mirza said, “No way!” and Samiksha Pednekar, Bhumi’s sister, wrote, “All this food!! I’ve never wanted to be in Jodhpur this much. Many of her other friends also put heart emojis on this post. Aanand L. Rai, on the other hand, set the record straight when he said, “Last thali teri nahi hai… mujhe pata hai” (the plate in the last photo is not yours, I know).
Getting back to the movie As the name suggests, the movie Raksha Bandhan is about the relationship between five sisters and their brother, Akshay Kumar. Bhumi plays the actor’s childhood sweetheart in the movie. The movie, which is being directed by Aanand L. Rai, will come out on August 11, just in time for Rakhi celebrations.
