When his grandpa Charles ascends to the throne, Prince Louis, the youngest child of Duke of Cambridge William and Kate Middleton, will follow in the footsteps of his father by adopting a different name.

He will take the name Louis Wales when his grandfather Charles succeeds to the throne. And William’s official title is changed to Prince of Wales, according to a report by the local news agency.
His Royal Highness Prince Louis Arthur Charles of Cambridge is his current title.

The younger one will keep his full title along with taking in the new sir name. Prince William, the father, also went by the last name of Wales. While attending school and serving in the royal navy.
