After IAS officer Tina Dabi wed, now comes word that her ex-husband Athar Amir Khan also just became engaged. Khan, the municipal commissioner currently assigned to Srinagar, got engaged to Dr. Mehreen Qazi. On Instagram, the IAS officer shared pictures of Mehreen.
After dating for several years, Athar and Tina Dabi wed in 2018 to considerable fanfare. At the IAS felicitation function in New Delhi in 2015, they first ran into each other. The 2015 UPSC test had been won by Tina Dabi, with Athar coming in second. Several politicians were present during their wedding.

Later, in November 2020, they submitted their divorce petition. It became official in August 2021.

Athar and Tina received their initial assignments in the same place, Bhilwara in Rajasthan. Later, Tina was assigned to Sri Ganganagar to serve as the Zila Parishad’s Chief Executive Officer. As the CEO of the Zila Parishad, Athar was transferred to Jaipur. While everything was going on, Athar was transferred from the Rajasthan cadre to Jammu and Kashmir and is now working in Srinagar.
