When talking about the drama, it was quite refreshing to see a different and unique storyline. Noman Ejaz, Sania Saeed, and many more actors from the cast and crew of Sang-e-Mar Mar (2016) return for the drama Sang-e-Mar Mar. Which acts as a spiritual sequel to that programme. The play examines such difficult subjects as forced marriages and crucial family ties while focusing on daily life in Pakistan’s Pakhtoon area. The filmmaker claims that Sang-e-Mah continues the same topics as its predecessor. And is the third instalment of a trilogy that will conclude with Sang-e-Siyah, the next planned show.

The actors were phenomenal, whether it be the innocent love sick Kubra Khan as Shehrzaad. Or the mono-tone, obnoxious, pseudo philosophical Hilmand played by Atif Aslam.

The episode of last week did a fantastic job of showcasing their female talent. Kubra Khan gave us a few last character-defining moments. However, Samiya Mumtaz once again stood out with her performance. As the Jirga continues to focus on their own existence, we also witnessed some wonderful mother-daughter connections. Moreover, the addition of the girls standing up to the jirga was a cherry on top.

Episode 25 did manage to do one pivotal thing right, it will make you excited for today’s final episode.
