Machine Gun Kelly was one of the many musical guests of honour at tonight’s 2022 Billboard Music Awards. He was there with his fiancee Megan Fox. The artist is not only playing tonight, but he is also up for top rock artist.
Kelly on the red carpet wearing a sparkly Dolce & Gabbana turtleneck top with a spiked suit. But the best part of his outfit was his manicure, that valued cool $30,000.
Kelly’s manicure cost as much as a car because it was a collaboration between the nail brand Nails of LA and the jewellery brand Marrow Fine. His nails were covered with 880 diamonds, which were worth $30,000 all together.
This isn’t the first time MGK has painted his nails. He wore a pink and green mani that went with his suit to the premiere of Good Mourning just last week. (He also has his own line of nail polish, called Un/Dn Laqr, which is for both men and women.)
This look isn’t just a major beauty moment, though. It also does some good. Kelly plans to use his manicure diamonds after the Billboards to make a collection of limited-edition rings that will be sold on Marrow Fine’s website.
He did this because he thought it would be a waste to spend so much money on something that would only be worn for one night. The musician is from Cleveland, so all of the money will go to a charity in Cleveland that will be named later.
