On their joint Nashville stadium tour, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, and Joan Jett were set to perform with Poison on Thursday, June 30. However, the band cancelled the show after lead Bret Michaels was transported to the hospital.

Members of Poison reportedly entered the stage to inform the crowd that Michaels had been taken to the hospital. Due to “a poor response to medication” and would not be able to perform. According to reports, COVID-19 may have played a role in the reaction.

Fans on Twitter, including one spectator who claimed to have travelled from Kansas City, Missouri, to watch the band, appeared to confirm the hospitalization.
It’s unclear if Michaels will be able to perform at this weekend’s concert in Jacksonville on Saturday, July 2. The band has yet to openly address the problem.

According to rumours, the massive North American tour was delayed from 2021 to 2022 because to COVID-19. Which the band later announced in May of 2021.

The mega tour eventually began on June 16 in Atlanta, Georgia, and is expected to continue throughout the summer. Before wrapping up on September 9 in Las Vegas. However, the scheduling can change because of this unforeseen circumstances.
