A 21-year-old North Philadelphia woman was shot during a fight outside a pub on Tuesday night and has since passed away.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, a gunman fired shots into the Philly Bar & Grill before ejecting from the scene in a car.
She’s basically a wonderful child who put forth a lot of effort. She however with the family the majority of the time.
James Holton, Jailene’s uncle, said of his niece, “She wasn’t the sort to always be out.” A buddy from Jersey came to visit her, and yesterday they went out for a little while.
Around 11:40 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to reports of a shooting outside the Philly Bar & Grill, which however located in a strip mall on Welsh Road.
Despite not making any arrests, 8th District police officers recovered a firearm from the scene.
“It appears that you haven’t been a man thus far, so act like one for a change. Spare everyone the hassle when asked whether he had a message for the culprit. Holton responded.

Holton had no idea that a terrible event like the shooting would affect a member of his family. The last significant tragedy to affect Jailene however the loss of her mother when she was a little child. Nobody is concerned. I don’t blame the police, either. Holton stated.
The shooting is the subject of an active, ongoing investigation. As of Wednesday afternoon, the police have not released any additional information.
