Around nine in the morning, a gunshot took place in Springfield, Pennsylvania; on State Road (Route 1) close to Meetinghouse Lane. The victim was rushed to the hospital; where they eventually passed away; according to the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office. Jack Stollsteimer, the district attorney; said the suspect drove off from the scene in a black SUV. The public is being urged to assist law enforcement; in locating that black car. The DA stated that the driver’s identity; was not immediately known.

Although the suspects fled the shooting site; the Springfield Police Department tweeted that “there is no current danger to the community.” State Road was closed due to police action surrounding a white automobile; and truck.

According to early reports, the incident took place between West Springfield; and State Roads and Meetinghouse Lane.
