Ranbir Kapoor is now touring the world in order to promote his upcoming action comedy Shamshera. Ranbir, who is making his return to the big screen four years after delivering the critically acclaimed film Sanju, will be competing against Sanjay Dutt, the real Sanju, in the upcoming film.

The actor participated in a lighthearted game of 20 questions during the promotion, during which he shared some personal details about his life.

One of the questions that were posed to Ranbir Kapoor was, “Who is the one person you’ve seen on the internet who you’re totally crushing on right now?”  He went onto name Spider-Man star Zendaya. Although he has an internet crush, Ranbir admitted his wife Alia Bhatt makes him smile in another question. When asked, “What makes you smile the most?”, the Shamshera star replied, “My wife, my dogs, my family, cool breeze, a good game of football, and a good movie.” Ranbir also revealed that Rohit Dhawan is his 4 am friend.

On April 14, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot in a private ceremony attended by their respective families as well as close friends. Since Alia revealed that she is expecting two days ago, all of the actresses are getting ready to take on the role of parent.

Meantime, Ranbir might be spotted in Shamshera. Set in the made-up city of Kaza, Shamshera tells the narrative of a warrior tribe that is imprisoned, enslaved, and tortured by the brutal authoritarian commander Shudh Singh. Herein is chronicled the rise to power and eventual legend status of a former slave who rose through the ranks of his own tribe’s society.

He is steadfast in his pursuit of justice for his people. Shamshera is his name. On July 22, 2022, the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions of the action extravaganza directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Aditya Chopra will be made available.
