Numerous admirers, Pakistani celebrities, and social media sites discussed it and offered their congratulations to the actress. With a picture, the Bollywood actress made the official announcement that “our baby is coming soon.”
Iqra Aziz and Durefisshan, two Pakistani actresses, also discussed Alia Bhatt’s pregnancy. After Alia Bhatt responded angrily to an Instagram post about her pregnancy, Durefisshan shared her long statements and Alia’s story.

The news of Alia’s pregnancy was actually announced by an Indian Instagram page in a very analytical way. In response to the post, Alia Bhatt said, “Meanwhile we still live in some people’s heads. We still live in a patriarchal world. FYI, nothing has gotten delayed. No one needs to pick anyone up. I am a woman, not a parcel. I do not need to rest at all but good to know you’ll have a doctor’s certification as well. This is 2022. Can we please get out of this archaic way of thinking? Now if you would excuse me. Durefisshan shared this post by Alia Bhatt and wrote, “We can get married/make babies and still be ‘KickAss’ Fab. Marriage is part of life and not a hault, stop telling women that their career goals don’t align well with that”.

The statement made by Durefisshan did not sit well with Pakistanis, who claimed that they did not appreciate her siding with Alia Bhatt since she clearly does not require her support. They also expressed their annoyance at Pakistani actors’ obsession with criticizing Bollywood actors while these Bollywood actors are unaware of them. Some Pakistanis said that since they had already seen Mahira Khan and Ayeza Khan succeeding after becoming super mothers, they shouldn’t be told about getting pregnant and careers.
