Pakistan’s T20 World Cup campaign will begin on October 23 in Melbourne when they take on India. They will then compete in the two qualifiers on October 27 and 30 in Perth before facing Bangladesh on November 6 in Adelaide and South Africa on November 3 in Sydney.

Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, stated that the series will aid his team’s preparation for the important event.

I’m happy that we’ll be participating in the tri-series in New Zealand because it will allow us to travel early, get acclimated for the T20 World Cup in Australia, and polish up our preparations.

“I’m excited to play cricket in Christchurch against two quality oppositions after missing the most recent series in New Zealand due to a thumb injury.”

After finishing their seven-match T20I series against England on October 2, Pakistan would leave for Christchurch the following day, on October 4.

Pakistan will compete in the ACC T20 Asia Cup, which will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from August 27 to September 11, prior to the England series.
