The popular Malayalam actor ND Prasad, 43, was found hanging from a tree outside of his home in Kalamassery on June 25. He has a wife and two children who remain as ND Prasad’s only survivors. The neighbors were notified of Prasad’s suicide, and they immediately called the police.
A police officer stated, “He had been going through some mental and domestic issues. His wife has also been staying away from him for some months. He seemed to have been feeling depressed for the last few days before his death.”
ND Prasad had appeared in a number of Malayalam movies, but it was his role as Action Hero Biju that made him famous. ND Prasad killed himself on June 25 by hanging himself from a tree near his house. The neighbors were notified once his children found the deceased, and they in turn notified the police.
The actor had previously been charged with drug use. Prasad was detained by the excise department in 2021 for possessing synthetic narcotics (2.5 gms of hashish oil and 15 gms of Ganja). Additionally, he was found to be in possession of deadly weapons.
Furthermore, doctors delivered ND Prasad’s mortal to his family members on June 26 after an autopsy.
