3.4 Magnitude Earthquake felt in South Carolina as far as North Charlotte. Overnight, a magnitude 3.4 earthquake struck South Carolina; and some people in North Carolina felt the trembling. According to a report from WCNC, the earthquake struck in Kershaw County, northeast of Columbia; close to Interstate 20 at 1:30 a.m. Both Charlotte, North Carolina, and Augusta; Georgia, in Georgia, saw effects. The U.S. Geological Survey has received more than 2,000 reports; on the earthquake.
