Former President Trump holds rally in Illinois called “Save America”

Former President Trump
  • Former President Donald Trump will campaign for Rep. Tammy Miller on Saturday.
  • Miller is a first-term representative of the 15th Congressional District in Illinois.
  • Her opponent, Rep. Rodney Davis, has served under Trump since the start of the Trump administration and is also backed by the former president.

On Saturday, former President Donald Trump is expected to deliver a speech at a rally in Quincy, Illinois.

In an Illinois congressional primary where Miller will face fellow House Republican Rep. Rodney Davis, Trump will campaign for Miller.

Of the once-every-ten-year redistricting process, the 15th Congressional District in Illinois, where Miller is a first-term representative, underwent a significant redrawing.

Miller is vying for the newly created, largely red seat in the state’s center, which includes a sizable portion of Davis’ existing district.

Davis has served as the nearby 13th District’s representative for the past ten years.

Prior to Tuesday’s primary, Trump endorsed Miller, which she claims has been “great” for her campaign.

America First is something I endorse. I’ve been with him since the beginning, and it’s an America first district, he added.

The Trump rally is gaining traction, and I have a lot of grassroots support.

Davis is promoting his Trump credentials even though he does not have the support of the former president.

Working with the Trump administration has been a terrific experience for me.

Keep in mind that I am the only member of Congress running in this election to have actually served under Trump.

Trump’s rally on Saturday will be his first since the US Supreme Court invalidated Roe v. Wade on Friday.
