Hossein Amirabdollahian reiterated Iran’s position at a joint news conference with Lavrov, stating that all sanctions against Iran must be lifted to revive the accord and blaming the United States for stalling talks that began over a year ago.

“We are pursuing the full re-establishment of the deal with no concessions on our position,”  Amirabdollahian said, adding that he hoped to keep negotiations on track and asked the United States to be pragmatic and assist in bringing the negotiations to a conclusion.
