Pope denounces violence in Mexico following the death of two Jesuits. Following the murder of two Jesuits by suspected drug gang members; Pope Francis stated that “violence never resolves problems; but simply adds unnecessary pain.”
As he lamented the murders of two of his “fellow” Jesuits who were shot dead; in a remote Mexican church by what appeared to be members of a drug gang; Pope Francis on Wednesday denounced the violence that wracks Mexico.

How many murders go place in Mexico, he exclaimed. “I emphasise that violence never ends conflicts; it only causes more needless misery,”

The bodies of Joaqun César Mora Salazar, 80, and Javier Campos Morales, 79; were found Monday inside the church in Cerocahui.
Authorities said that a drug gang was after a man who had evidently sought safety in the church; and when they discovered him, they killed both the man and the priests.
When he served as the archbishop of Buenos Aires; Francis provided assistance to drug users.
