According to Kabul police chief spokesman Khalid Zadran; gunmen attacked a Sikh Gurdwara in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul on Saturday; killing at least two people.
Seven terrorists attempted to storm the temple; tossing explosives at security personnel stationed at the entrance. The assailants also detonated a car bomb in the neighbourhood; however no one was injured as a result of the blast.

Zadran says, all seven shooters were slain during a siege within the temple grounds that lasted many hours. There was no immediate admission of guilt.
According to state-run news source Bakhtar; the attack killed a member of the security forces as well as a Sikh worshipper.
According to Gornam Singh, a temple official, 30 persons were inside the temple at the time of the attack. “We don’t know how many of them are alive or dead,” he added; adding that temple officials were at a lost for what to do because the Taliban refused to let them in.
