Many spectators were not given refunds, and the Phelps twins admitted that they were just as surprised as the fans in an exclusive interview with A Current Affair.

‘We were in the dark as much as the guys on the other end buying the tickets from the shows from Wowza’, Oliver told A Current Affair.

Wowza sought to blame the twins for the tour’s cancellation at the time, but Oliver revealed that it was all a ruse.

He said: ‘There were a lot of other ones, not just the one we were supposed to be on and I think it was just a deflection tactic from what I could see.’

The company reportedly has since gone bust, according to Report.

The actors famously known for their portrayal as the Weasley twins spoke about their ethics and morals. They said: ‘I think the main focus for us is to treat people how you want to be treated.

‘It’s what we’ve always been taught growing up and what we still believe in fully.’

Supanova is backing the 36-year-intention old’s to make atonement by organising free Q&A sessions.

Oliver and James will attend the Supanova comic-con events in Sydney and Perth on June 18-19 and June 25-26, respectively.
