Amber Heard feels that some critical evidence disregarded by the court in her defamation case against ex-Johnny Depp could have swung the final result in her favor, according to People magazine,
In a new segment of her interview with Savannah Guthrie, airing on Dateline on Friday, Amber said: “There’s a binder worth of years of notes dating back to 2011 from the very beginning of my relationship that was taken by my doctor, who I was reporting the abuse to.”
Those notes, according to the Aquaman actress, were evidence of ‘years of real-time explanations’ of the alleged abuse she endured from Johnny during their relationship and marriage.
Amber allegedly told her therapist in January 2012 that Johnny ‘struck her and tossed her on the floor,’ according to the notes, which were broadcast on Dateline and referenced by People magazine.

Amber allegedly told her psychiatrist that Johnny ‘torn her nightgown and flung her on the bed’ in notes taken months after that day. She also claimed to her therapist in 2013 that Johnny ‘threw her against a wall and threatened to kill her’.
Savannah explains in a voiceover that the notes were declared ‘hearsay’ and so ‘inadmissible’ un court as proof.
The six-week defamation trial initiated against Amber by Johnny over her 2018 op-ed for the Washington Post finished with a seven-member jury siding with Johnny and finding Amber guilty of defamation.
Damages totaling more than $10 million were granted to Johnny.
