In a recent interview, Kiara Advani discussed reuniting with her Lust Stories co-star Vicky Kaushal in Govinda Naam Mera. The web-series, which stars Kiara and Vicky in the key roles with Bhumi Pednekar, was launched a while back.
In a recent interview, Kiara reminisced on her friendship with Vicky and described their on-screen combination as “special.”
Kiara said, “Vicky and I are constantly cast together in ‘quirky’ stories. Kiara described the film as “strange,” adding that she had been referring to it as a “trippy” movie because they have yet to invent a phrase to identify its genre.”
Concerning Vicky and her, Kiara stated that she is excited to watch how people react to their combination in the film.
Kiara shared her thoughts on the subject, saying, “Vicky and I have always been partnered in an unusual way. Lust Stories was such a unique relationship, so fun while yet having a lot of depth and intricacies.
And, once again, I believe it’s a really intriguing equation, a very unusual film genre.”
“I’m not sure what to call it yet since I’m not sure. It’s similar to a thriller… yet we still need to coin a label for this genre since I believe it’s something fresh and different. I keep calling it psychedelic because everyone on set has been calling it that.”
Furthermore, Kiara stated, “Vicky and I in the film have a really unusual equation and connection; it’s not typical, and it’s not anything you’ve seen before. We constantly seem to be coupled with these odd, funny equations. So I’m curious to see how people react to this one.”

Kiara will next be seen in Jugjugg Jeeyo, with Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor, after Govinda Naam Mera. Raj Mehta is directing the film, which is produced by Karan Johar. It is scheduled to be released in theatres on June 24, 2022.
Kiara has also been working on her film with Shankar. It also stars Ram Charan.
