The statement by U.S. President Joe Biden on support for Ukraine and call with President Zelensky of Ukraine reads, “I informed President Zelensky that the United States is providing another $1 billion in security assistance for Ukraine, including additional artillery and coastal defence weapons, as well as ammunition for the artillery and advanced rocket systems that the Ukrainians need to support their defensive operations in the Donbas.

In he face of unwarranted Russian aggression, Biden repeated that the United States would help Ukraine as it defended its democracy and supported its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
