Justin, on the other hand, had to cancel two of his New York City shows earlier this week owing to facial paralysis caused by a rare neurological illness.
Ramsay Hunt syndrome is characterised by a severe rash around the ear, on the cheek, or on the lips. According to Page Six, it arises when the varicella-zoster virus attacks a nerve in the brain, causing paralysis in some cases. Meanwhile, on Monday, Justin gave his fans another update, saying that he was already feeling much better after relying on his faith. “Wanted to share a little bit of how I’ve been feeling. Each day has gotten better and through all of the discomfort I have found comfort in the one who designed me and knows me,” he wrote at the time.
